Agnes Dorn

February 11, 1931 — December 2, 2018

Agnes M. Dorn, age 87, of Brillion, died on Sunday December 2, 2018 at St. Paul Elder Care in Kaukauna. She was born on February 11, 1931 in the Town of Rantoul, daughter of the late Jacob and Gertrude (Lodes) Mallmann.  She married Peter F. Dorn on July 30, 1952 in Chilton.  After raising 12 children, she entered the workforce with Electronic Assembly Corporation / Plexus for 13 years. Upon entering retirement, Agnes volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program in Brillion. She liked to listen to music, dance, read, play games, and bake. She was known as the “cookie grandma”, and was known for her witty “Ma Dorn” jokes.  But, spending time with family, and living her faith, were the most important things to her. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Christian Mothers. Survivors include, her children: Trudie (Emory) Luebke of Greenville, Paul (Kathy) Dorn of Green Bay, Carol (Wes) Kupsky of Chilton, Pat (Rick) Payne of Neenah, Don (Jenny) Dorn of Chilton, Tom (Kelly) Dorn of Little Chute, John (Rebekah) Dorn of Harrison, Nancy (Tim) Chevalier of Appleton, Joel (Amy) Dorn of Sherwood, Terry (Rhonda) Dorn of Goshen, IN, Shannon Dorn (boyfriend, Jamie Krueger) of Brillion, and Kellie (Jim) Doll of Bayside.  She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her siblings: Raymond Mallmann of Chilton, Tony (Betty) Mallmann of Cape Coral, FL, Norbert (Florence) Mallmann of Chilton, Theresa Fritsch of Kiel, Julie (Charles) Bangart of Brillion, Margaret (Allan) Tikalsky of Manitowoc, Charlotte (Don) Heller of Chilton, Anna Mae (Tom) Baer of Waco, TX, Dorothy (Don) Mullard of Chilton, and many other relatives and friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Peter in 1978, an infant daughter, Audrey, 2 grandsons, and 2 brothers -- Charles and Edward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018, at 12:30 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Tom Pomeroy will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue at church on Friday from 11:00 AM until noon.
