Obituary

Agnes A. Schrage, age 82, of Mt. Calvary, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019, at the Villa Loretto Nursing Home in Mt. Calvary. She was born on July 4, 1936, in Fond du Lac, WI, to the late Ralph "Butch" M. and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (Farrey) Gulig. Agnes attended St. John the Baptist School and Fond du Lac Senor High School. She was a member of St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross in Mt. Calvary. On September 10, 1955 she married Robert F. Schrage at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg, WI. She enjoyed reading, gardening, baking and cooking for everyone. Her and Rob enjoyed traveling , antiquing and flea markets together. Agnes will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Rob, of Mt. Calvary; her children, Chris (Jenny) of West Bend, Tim (Diane Butz) of Fond du Lac, Ted (Anne) of Chilton, Mitch (Terese Brunner) of New Holstein; grandchildren, Brad, Sara (Jordan) Borgwardt , Katie, Jessica, Isaac and Parker; great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kolten, Cameron, Jackson, Malia, Patrick and Oscar; her sisters and brothers, Janet Gulig Ahern (Dave Ahern), Andrew (Mary) Gulig, Cathy Gulig, Ralph (Jackie) Gulig, Joan Fuhrmann, David (Kathy) Gulig, and Steve Gulig; her brother-in-law, David Abler; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Schmitz and Judy (Paul) Runkel. Preceding her in death are an infant son, Bradley; brother, William J. Gulig, sister, Mary E. Abler; her parents, parents-in-law, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:30 PM on Friday, February 1, 2019, at St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church, 308 South County Road W, Mount Calvary, WI 53057. Rev. Gary Wegner, OFM Cap will officiate. Agnes will be laid to rest with a private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation: Family and friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 1, from 2:00 PM until 5:15 PM, at St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund will be set up in her name for The Village of Mt. Calvary to adorn the streets with American Flags during the 4th of July Celebration, Villa Loretta and St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church. Agnes's family would like to thank the Villa Loretto Nursing Home in Mount Calvary for all of their help and support in caring for her.
