Albert Linzmeier

December 23, 1924 — April 1, 2010

Albert Linzmeier, age 85, of Reedsville, died on Fri. April 2, 2010 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. He was born on Dec. 23, 1924, son of the late Charles & Margaret (Simonar) Linzmeier. Albert worked at the Brillion Iron Works as an inspector until his retirement in 1983. He served in the U.S. Army in 1945-1946. Albert loved his big garden and all his flowers. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Survivors include six brothers, George (Rita) of Cato, Tony of Manitowoc, Michael (Betty) of Darboy, James (Judy) of Dykesville, Richard (Virginia) of Combined Locks, Charles (Rita) of Hortonville, a sister Frances of Manitowoc, and a sister-in-law Betty of DePere. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Charles, 4 brothers, Laurence, Clarence, Donald, and Robert, and 2 sisters, Dorothy and Laura. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tue. April 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Matt Simonar will officiate. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Friends may call at the church on Tue from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass. The Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville is assisting the family with arrangements. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Northridge Care Center for the care given to Albert during his brief illness, and the staff at Aurora Hospital along with the staff of VNA Hospice.
