Amber J. (Hewitt) Ruhland, age 28, of New Holstein, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at her home.

She was born March 2, 1995, in Plymouth to Tom Hewitt & Julie (Frank) Pitz. Amber graduated from New Holstein High School in 2013 and graduated, along with her mother, Julie, from Lakeshore Technical College in 2019 with an associate degree in accounting.

Amber was currently employed with Milk Specialties in New Holstein. Amber also worked at Plymouth Industries as an accountant for several years; prior to that, she worked at Walmart, where she met Kevin. On April 16, 2022, she married Kevin Ruhland in Brillion.

Amber was musically inclined and lit up the room with her infectious smile and booming voice. Amber was a very competitive gamer; age did not matter. A good day was coming home and snuggling up with her cats which she loved dearly. Amber enjoyed travels to several states and through her life with her best friend Alicia (Chewbaccaroar).

Survivors include her husband, Kevin; her father, Tom (Jenny) Hewitt of Eden; her mother, Julie (David) Pitz of New Holstein; her siblings, Ashley Hewitt of Fond du Lac, Jonathan Pitz of New Holstein, and Tanya (Jesse) Maki of New Holstein; her paternal grandparents, Sharon (Randy) Bernath of Eden and Mark (Kelly) Dymale of Eden; her maternal grandparents, Patrick & Jackie Frank of White Lake and Fran Pitz of Kiel; her maternal great-grandmother, Audrey Blackford of Winter Springs, FL. Amber is further survived by her mother-in-law, Sue Ruhland of Chilton; her sisters-in-law, Alexi (Carl) Crneckiy of Sheboygan, Jamie (Lavel) Barrette of Milwaukee, and Andrea (Mario) Ramirez of Neenah; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and many friends, especially her best friend, Alicia Schad.

Preceding her in death were her beloved son, Luke William Hewitt; her grandparents, Janet Dymale and Mike Pitz; and her father-in-law, Keith Ruhland.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Amber's family at the funeral home on Friday, September 22nd from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
