Ann T. Sippel, age 67, of rural St. Cloud, passed away with her family at her side on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee following a courageous battle with chronic heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Ann was born August 2, 1950, to the late Francis R. & Rose B. (Hau) Sippel. She attended grade school at Holy Cross Catholic School in Mount Calvary and graduated from St. Mary's Springs High School in Fond du Lac in 1968. Following high school, she attended a cosmetology school in Green Bay for one year. She worked as a beautician at the Fond du Lac Department Store until its closing in the 1970's. On September 6, 1971, she married Leon Sippel at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mount Calvary. Ann stayed home to raise her family until her children were in school. Once her children were off to school, she and one of her friends started "Gimme a Break" cleaning service. She retired in February 2016. She was an avid brewers fan and looked forward to attending local home-town baseball games. Ann enjoyed cooking, which seemed like for an army, and bird watching. Her greatest enjoyment was time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Ann is survived by her husband, Leon; her four children, Nicki (Rick) Wagner of Evansville, Noel (April) Sippel of Mount Calvary, Josh (Pam) Sippel of St. Cloud, and Abby Sippel of St. Cloud; three grandchildren, Owen, Madelyn, and Joah; her sisters and brothers, Kay (Tom) Wehner of Malone, Lynn Sippel of Mount Calvary, Ned (Mary) Sippel of Fond du Lac, and Gregg (Elise) Sippel of Missouri. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda (Mike) Winter, Dennis (Lauri) Sippel, Dale "Skinny" (Esther) Sippel, Cheryl Lefeber, Pam (George) Vitteck, and Ross (Daisy) Sippel; numerous nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Francis & Rose Sippel; a son, Christopher; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Vernon "Bud" & Elsie Sippel; and a brother-in-law, Mark Sippel. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church, 308 S. County Road W, Mount Calvary, WI 53057. Rev. Gary Wegner, OFM Cap will officiate. Visitation: Family and friends may greet the family at St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church on Tuesday, June 5th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Wednesday morning at the church from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name.
