Anna H. Sprenger, age 96, a resident of Willowdale in New Holstein for the past 9 years, went to her stairway to heaven on Monday, September 18, 2017.
She was born June 4, 1921 in Armstrong Creek, WI; Daughter of Jacob and Catherine (Gruszcgynski) Lukaszewski.
On February 20, 1939, Anna married Verlin F McDaniel. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1964. On July 16, 1966 Anna married Karl Sprenger, he preceded her in death on December 12, 1977.
Anna worked at Tecumseh and retired on March 29, 1984.
Anna was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, bowling, going to the Casino and having the family together at holidays.
Anna is survived by one daughter, Shirley A. Falk, of Howards Grove; three grandsons, Butch Falk of Sheboygan, Charles Falk (Linda Meyer) of Sheboygan, and Thomas (Monica) Falk of New Holstein; eight great-grandchildren, Jason (Ann) Beinemann of Houston, TX, Cassandra (Adam) Strassberger of Milwaukee, Christopher Falk (Randi) of Plymouth, Shelby Falk (Schawn) of Sheboygan, Jacob Falk of Sheboygan, Jordon Falk of Sheboygan, Alyssa (Michael) Fajarde of Virginia Beach, VA, Krysten Kaphing of New Holstein; and one great great grandson, Owen Strassberger. She is further survived by brother-in-law, Wilbert "Jiggs" Janke of Sheboygan, and Wilmer G. Falk of Sheboygan; plus many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding Anna in death were her parents, Jacob and Catherine Lukaszewski; six brothers, Stanley, Jacob Jr., Andrew, John, Frank, Tom; six sisters, Lottie Schram, Josie Dolatorski, Mary Smith, Julia Millin, Gustie Fuhrman, and Florence Benzachawel; her father and mother in-laws, Frank and Rose McDaniel and Walter and Alma Sprenger; several brothers and sisters in law; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM noon on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street New Holstein, WI 53061. Anna will be laid to rest in the St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery in Howards Grove.
Family and friends may call at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, a Memorial fund will be established in her name.
