Anthony "Tony" Linzmeier

Anthony Tony Linzmeier, age 83 of Manitowoc, died on December 27, 2011, the 26th anniversary of his fathers death, surrounded by family at Northridge Medical Care Center in Manitowoc. He was born on November 20, 1928 in Kewaunee County, son of the late Charles & Margaret (Simonar) Linzmeier. Tony worked on various farms during his early life, and then worked at Holiday House in Manitowoc until his retirement in 2009. He loved music and dancing, the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Tony was a member of Holy Family Parish in Brillion. Survivors include 5 brothers, George (Rita) of Cato, Michael (Betty) of Darboy, James (Judy) of Dykesville, Richard (Virginia) of Combined Locks and Charles (Rita) of Hortonville, a sister Frances of Manitowoc, a sister-in-law Betty of DePere. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, Lawrence, Clarence, Albert, Donald and Robert, 2 sisters Dorothy and Laura. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday December 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Reedsville. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
