Armond P. Wunrow, age 90, of Brillion, went to heaven on June 10, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on Nov. 26, 1919 in the Town of Rantoul, son of the late Herman & Anna (DeKaste) Wunrow. He farmed the homestead farm in Rantoul until 1968 when his beloved wife Alice passed away. At that time, he sold the farm and began to work at Huebner Implement Mfg. in Forest Junction as a machinist until the age of 80 when he retired. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul, sang in the mens choir, and was a member of the Brillion Senior Citizens. Armond really enjoyed reading and increasing his knowledge daily. He is survivied by Lilly, his devoted wife and companion for the past 30 years, a son David (Donna) Wunrow of Seymour, a daughter, Betty (Jim) Miller of Chilton, a stepson Myron (Jean) Peter of Brillion and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alice, a son David, and a sister Anita. Funeral service will be held on Mon. June 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The Rev. Timothy Benninghoff will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Rantoul. Friends may call at the church on Mon. from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Armonds name.
