Bernice Reidy

Bernice Reidy, age 88 of Brillion, died on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born on September 10, 1927 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Elmer and Esther (Pautz) Lawrenz. She married Lando Dobberpuhl on September 27, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2007. She married Jerome Reidy in May of 1986. He preceded her in death in June of 2007. Bernice was the bookkeeper for Maribel Grain Company for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion, the Ladies Aid and served as Sunshine Chairman. Bernice was baptized in the Word, confirmed in the Faith and lived for God. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Ruthann and Duane Duescher of Alma, MI, a grandson Tim (Jennifer) Duescher of Two Rivers, 2 great grandchildren Noah and Emma, 2 sisters, Alice Uecker of Morrison and Karen (John) Heyn of Cecil, a brother-in-law Fabian Smith of Green Bay, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son Alan, a sister Lorna Smith and a brother-in-law Arwed Uecker. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Revs. Ross Henzi and Thomas Fricke will officiate. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Morrison. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and then at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
