Bette A. (Bernard) Buchholz, age 70, of Kiel, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
She was born August 31, 1950, to the late Harvey & Anita (Koehler) Bernard. Bette graduated from Kiel High School in 1970. On May 11, 1974, she married Allen L. Buchholz at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. Allen preceded her in death on October 5, 2019.
Bette had worked at Hennings Cheese and Kiel Woodenware. After starting her family, she became a stay at home mother.
Bette enjoyed playing cards with family & friends, bowling, playing Bingo, and camping. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; playing cards and going for rides in the car.
Survivors include her two children, Keith (Brenda) Buchholz of Chilton and Sara (Mike) Schwarz of Kiel; four grandchildren, Emily & Logan Buchholz and Josh & Mel Schwarz; her sisters, Jane (John) Korb, Joan Broehm, and Susan (Tom) Muellenbach; her sister-in-law, Beverly (Paul) Schwoerer; and Myron (Marlene) Mueller; as well as nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Preceding Bette in death were her husband, Allen Buchholz; her parents, Harvey & Anita Bernard; her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Eldon & Mariele Buchholz; two brothers, Lonnie & Larry (Donna) Bernard; her sister, Sandra Bernard; and her brother-in-law, Jerome Broehm.
Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Bette's family at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061, on Monday, May 24, 2021, from 2:30 PM until 4:30 PM. A private graveside service will take place in the Eaton Union Cemetery.
