Betty J. Zarnoth, age 82, of 307 2nd Street, Reedsville, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her residence. Betty was born in Brillion on December 16, 1932, daughter of the late Herman C. and Esther (Bielke) Behnke. On October 21, 1962, she married Delmar Zarnoth at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. He preceded her in death November 2, 2002. Betty was employed at the Brillion IGA, the Piggly Wiggly in Kaukauna, and ended her career at the Ariens Company in Brillion. She was an active member of the Becker, Bloedorn, Jensen Auxiliary Post 126 of Brillion and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. Betty and Delmar loved to travel, spend time at the cabin on White Lake, and in their earlier year, were on a couples bowling league team. Betty also enjoyed gardening and outside work, loved animals, did ceramic pottery, and especially loved her family. She is survived by her siblings and in-laws: Carol Beyer, Jim (Florence) Behnke, and Karen (Leon) Boettcher all of Brillion; two brothers-in-law: Pete (Betty) Zarnoth of Brillion and Bert (Dorothy) Zarnoth of Reedsville; one sister-in-law: Darlene Sheehy of Reedsville; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by siblings and in-laws: Orlando (Barbara) Behnke, Orville Behkne, Ellen (Marvin) Boettcher, and Anita (Elton) Stichert; and other relatives. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Ross Henzi and Rev. Tom Fricke. Burial will take place in Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 12:00 NOON until 1:45 p.m. Memorials appreciated to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion.
