Bonnie Catherine Goeser, 73 of Kimberly, died November 11, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. She was born December 13, 1943 in Fond du Lac, WI to Joseph (Sam) and Freida (Geiser) Goeser. After graduation from Chilton High in 1962, she attended UW Oshkosh and moved to Chicago. There she worked as a librarian/information specialist, and graduated from Northwestern University. She retired from Greeley Hanson Engineering in 2011. In retirement she enjoyed traveling, card making, and going to out to eat with the Hallmark lunch bunch. She is a member of the Appleton Noon Lions and former member and president of the Sherwood Lioness Club. She is survived by a sister Joan Petrie, brother, Bill (Karen) Goeser; nieces and nephews, Linda (Dave) Olson; Joe (Jan) Petrie; Jean (Mark) Landreman; John (Jenny) Petrie; Ted (Brigitte) Petrie; Dan (Leslie) Petrie; Georgi McCarthy and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Dave Petrie, nephew, Robert Petrie. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood. Officiating will be the Rev. Michael Bentley. Cremation has occurred and burial will take place in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery immediately following the Mass.Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bonnie’s name. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Bridges and ThedaCare Hospice for all of their help and compassion.
