Brendan Timothy Waack, three days old, of Itchy Acre Lane, Cato, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his parents on November 6, 2011 at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Brendan was born in Two Rivers on November 3, son of Amy M. Schaaf and Timothy A. Waack. He is survived by his parents who said, Some people only dream of angels, but we held one in our arms. During his three short days here on Earth, Brendan touched many lives and was loved deeply by his family and friends. Brendan is further survived by his maternal and paternal grandparents: James and Alice Schaaf of Calumet, MI, Gary Waack of Reedsville, and Debra Waack of Manitowoc; his paternal great-grandparents: Harvey and Charmaine Waack of Reedsville; aunt and uncles: Tammy (David) Murphy of East Troy, WI, Troy Waack of Manitowoc, Chris Waack of Manitowoc, and Carrie (Paul Schweigl) Waack of Green Bay; two cousins: Carli Shea Murphy and Carson Stark, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents: Donald and Lahja Jean Schaaf and William and Lucy Thomas, and his paternal great-grandparents: John and Grace Schmidt. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Timothy Nommensen with burial to follow at St. John St. James Westside Cemetery, Reedsville.
