Bruce H. Mckinney

Bruce H. McKinney, age 77 of Brillion, died on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Brillion West Haven.

He was born on October 22, 1938 in Milwaukee, son of the late Edward and Marguerite (Brusius) McKinney. He married Judith Hartwig on June 18, 1960. Bruce worked as an accountant in the Milwaukee area and also coached baseball for over 20 years. In 1982, he and Judy purchased and operated McKinney Brillion Bowl until 1994. He then worked at the Ariens Company for several years until his retirement. After his retirement, he worked at the Fremont Citgo Station until 2015.  Bruce loved being on the lake and fishing. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion, a former member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Wautoma and the Brillion Optimist Club.

Survivors include 3 sons, Sean (Barb) McKinney of Brillion, Kevin (Hiroko) McKinney of Chantilly, VA, Terry (Jane) McKinney of Holmen, WI, 5 grandchildren, Jamie, Brian, Shannon, Duncan and Keara, a brother Daniel McKinney of Germantown and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Judith on July 22, 1997 and a granddaughter Francine. Mass of Christian burial will be held at NOON on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wautoma. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Online condolences may be made at www.wieting-funeralhome.com
