Carlton "Doc" Walters

Carlton "Doc" Walters, age 62, of Brillion, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Doc was born on September 25, 1950 in Green Bay, son of the late Dr. C A Walters, Sr. and Margaret (Dunham) Walters. On May 31, 2001 he married Beverly Voeltz in Brillion. Doc was an Electrician at the Brillion Iron Works for 40 years. Over the past two years, Doc spent as much time as he could with his best friend, his dog Ralphie. He loved corvettes his entire life, and even owned several over the years. Doc was a member of the Brillion Athletic Association where he also served as president, coached Charger Football for many years, and was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. Doc is survived by his wife: Beverly; his children: Carlton (Stephanie) Walters, III, David Walters, Jessica Behnke and Corey Behnke; two grandchildren: Ava and Emerson Walters; his dog and best friend: Ralphie; his father-in-law: Edwin Voeltz; his sister: Marilyn Wagner; and three brothers-in-law: Edwin Voeltz, Jr., Jeffrey Voeltz, and Benjamin Voeltz. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Doc was preceded in death by his parents: Dr. Carlton Walters, Sr. and Margaret Walters; his mother-in-law: Barbara Voeltz; and a brother-in-law: Marlin Wagner. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. No service will be held. Private burial will take place in Brillion Community Cemetery.
