Carol I. Boldt, age 79, of 133 Dewey Street in Brillion, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at her home. She was born November 29, 1931 in Algoma, daughter of the late Arwed and Dora Serrahn. She married Wilfred Boldt on June 24, 1956 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Algoma. She was a secretary for the Algoma Foundry for 6 ½ years and then worked at the Brillion Canning Company. She did volunteer work for Shepherds Attic in Chilton for many years. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion and the Ladies Aid where she served as secretary for several years. Survivors include; her husband Wilfred, her children; Russell (Mary) Boldt, Susan (Gary) Graf and Julie Boldt all of Brillion, four grandchildren; Eric (Amanda) Graf, Matthew, Amanda and Megan Boldt, two great grandchildren; Jade and Elijah, a sister Margaret Nell of Algoma and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter Marcia. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9 at St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
