Carol L. Collins, age 80, of Manitowoc, formerly of St. Cloud and Fond du Lac, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay. She was born February 19, 1942, in San Diego, CA to Chester & Peggy (Rosso) Cardo. Carol graduated from El Cajon High School in 1959; and from San Diego State College in 1964. On July 4, 1964, she married Daniel J. Collins at St. Martin Catholic Church in La Mesa, CA. Daniel preceded her in death on August 18, 2001. Carol was a music teacher for the CPES-St. Cloud School for several years and provided private music lessons in her home. She also played the keyboards for Shades of Dawn and Heartland bands. Carol was also an organist for the St. Cloud Catholic Church while living in St. Cloud. Survivors include her three children, Fred Collins of Henderson, NV, Steve (Renee) Collins of Rochester, NY, and Deana (Jason) Amerson of Brillion; three grandchildren, Daniel, Ian, and Seth; her brothers-in-law, Robert (Ellie) Collins and Michael (Brenda) Collins; and her sister-in-law, Carol Collins. Preceding her in death were her parents, Chester & Peggy Cardo; her husband, Daniel J. Collins; her half-brother, Warren Cardo; and her brother-in-law, Fred Collins.
