Carole J. Siebert, age 78, of Reedsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at her home. Carole was born in Manitowoc on July 30, 1933, daughter of the late Arthur and Louise (Moschel) Eichhorst. On October 8, 1960, she married Elroy Siebert at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1988. Carole worked at Tecumseh. She enjoyed playing cards, going out to eat with friends, and spending time with her family. Carole also enjoyed the Eichhorst Family Camping Outing and country music festivals. She was a member of the Reedsville American Legion Auxiliary and St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Lisa (Rev. Dan) Sargent of Lusaka, Zambia in Africa, Jack (Jo) Siebert of Reedsville, and Jay (Cindi) Siebert of DePere; four grandchildren: Nathan Sargent of Lusaka, Zambia , Amanda (Danny) Pahl of Reedsville, and Tawny and Chase Siebert of DePere; two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Leroy Eichhorst of Sussex, Don (Pat) Eichhorst of Reedsville, and Dorothy Eichhorst of Manitowoc; her dear friend: LaVerne Treichel of Reedsville, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Carole was preceded in death by her husband Elroy, her parents, three brothers and two sister-in-law, an infant brother Frederick, Alan Eichhorst, Lyle (Mildred) Eichhorst, and Shirley Eichhorst; one sister and brother-in-law: Betty (Vernon) Anderson; and other in-laws: Howard (Norma) Siebert, Carlton (Nancy) Siebert, Ed (Emily) Garsow, and Leroy (Grace) Welch. Funeral Service for Carole will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012 at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Officiating will be the Rev. Timothy Nommensen with burial at Westside Cemetery, Reedville. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. There will be a Reedsville American Legion Auxiliary Memorial Service.
