Casey A. Schaefer

Casey A. Schaefer, age 45, of Brillion, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023.

Casey was born on November 10, 1977 in Manitowoc, son of Robert “Jet” and Denise (Breit) Schaefer. He was a graduate of Brillion High School with the class of 1996. Casey served in the United States Air Force for four years as a HVAC technician being stationed in Anchorage, AK. He then attended Fox Valley Technical College where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. Casey worked for the Ariens Company for 8 years and was most recently employed with Kaytee in Chilton. While in high school, he was an avid wrestler and outdoorsman. He enjoyed mountain biking, hiking, reading and most importantly spending time with his family.

Survivors include his parents: Jet and Denise Schaefer; one brother: Corey (Heather) Schaefer; niece and nephew: Jackson & Aubrey; and his grandmother: Mickey Breit. Many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ralph Breit; Eugene Schaefer, Alphonse Lodes, Lyn Doris Schaefer Lodes; one aunt: Connie Cornette; two uncles: Terry Breit and Jimmy Schaefer; and two cousins: Jennifer Haufschildt and Tanner Schroeder.

A Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion.  Officiating will be Deacon Mark Knipp.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
