Cecelia M. Roehrig, age 96, formerly of Dotyville, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon. The former Cecelia Wuest was born July 11, 1920, in St. Cloud to John J. & Mary (Olig) Wuest. She attended grade school at St. Michael's Catholic Grade School in Dotyville. On May 4, 1946, she married Alfred J. Roehrig at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Dotyville. The couple lived all their married life in the Dotyville community. Cecelia's husband preceded her in death on January 7, 1987. She had worked at Best Roller Co. in Fond du Lac until her retirement. Cecelia was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church where she also belonged to the Christian Women's Society. She had a very deep love and devotion to her church, family and friends. Cecelia was a devout giving of herself person. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grand nieces, great-grand nephews, great-great-grand nieces and great-great-grand-nephews; her sister-in-law, Olga M. Roehrig of Fond du Lac as well as other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, John J. & Mary Wuest; her husband, Alfred J. Roehrig; her brother, Alfred J. Wuest and her grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B Eden, WI 53019. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate. Cecelia will be laid to rest next to her husband in the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Dotyville.
