Charles "Chuck" K. Erickson, age 74, of Fond du Lac, formerly of St. Cloud, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at SSM St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
He was born April 13, 1949, in Milwaukee, WI to the late Kenneth & Betty (Baldwin) Erickson.
Chuck attended and graduated from Milwaukee Trade & Tech School.
On April 6, 1968, he married his Jr High Sweetheart, Beverly "Bev" Gerth at St. Martini Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Bev preceded him in death on February 17, 2012.
Chuck had worked at the former Tecumseh Engine Products in New Holstein and later on, drove semi for Ottery Trucking and Poch Trucking.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and his four legged companions.
Survivors include his two children, Cynthia "Cindy" (Randy) Schmidt of rural New Holstein "Marytown" and Kenneth "Ken" (Jen) Erickson of Fond du Lac; Five grandchildren, Megan Nett, Melissa Schmidt, Randy Jr. Schmidt, Charlotte Erickson and Kenny Erickson; a great granddaughter, Bella Nett; his brother & sisters, Dwight (Heidi) Erickson of Kinross, MI, Kathy Erickson of Bever Dam, Valerie Erickson Abresch of Waupun, and Karen Erickson of Milwaukee; sisters-in-law, Joyce Gerth Lubner and Carolyn Gerth. He is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Beverly "Bev"; an infant son, Charles Jr; a great-grandson, Eric Schmidt; his parents, Kenneth & Betty Erickson; his father-in-law & mother-in-law, George & Rosalie Gerth; three brothers-in-law, George Gerth, Roger Gerth, and Vic Lubner; and a sister-in-law, Judy Gerth Olson.
A Celebration of his Life will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Cabaret, 1401 Main Street, St. Cloud, WI 53079.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.
