Christine M. (Lachowicz) Stangel

Christine M. (Lachowicz) Stangel, an Appleton, WI resident, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023.  She was born in Two Rivers, WI, daughter of the late Joe and Dorothy (Klutka) Lachowicz.

She was a graduate of Two Rivers High School Class of 1965.   Chris was employed at Shopko for many years as a manager, and she also owned and operated Katherine K Lingerie in Green Bay for several years.  She then went on to manage the garden department at Walmart.   Chris loved reading, gardening and floral design.  She had a great love of color which was reflected in her fashion choices and her paintings, a talent most people were unaware she possessed.  Her sense of humor put a smile on everyone’s face and her wonderful baking skills had all who were tempted checking their scales.

Survivors include a daughter Megan (Ben) Campbell; grandson Aiden Campbell.  Siblings Pat (Jim) Tadych, Brillion and their children Mike (Pam), Marc (Carol), the late Christopher, and Brittany Flick; Marsha (Fred) Rubis, Livermore, CA; and Joe (Gail) Lachowicz, Two Rivers, WI and their sons Tyler and Dusty.  Along with a gaggle of great-nieces and great-nephews; Joey, Heather, Erin, Illy & Eli.

Private Family Services will be held.
