Cindy L. Peters, age 69, of Kaukauna, formerly of Brillion, passed away on Friday morning, February 21, 2025 at St. Paul’s Home, Kaukauna.
Cindy was born on November 30, 1955, in Appleton, WI., the daughter of the late Jerome and Nancy (Beilke) Aplin. She was a graduate of Brillion High School. On May 16, 1998, she married Dennis Peters in Potter, WI. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2011. Cindy was employed by the Griner Supper Club in Hayward, Chesters Bar, and Michiels Supper Club in Brillion. In her younger days, she enjoyed bowling, crafts, going up north with friends, bartending, joking with people, playing cribbage, and shaking dice with Petey at the local establishments. Cindy adored her dogs, BJ and Kelly, and loved spending time with her family.
Cindy continued to live her best life, through her hardships and made many friends. She was very well respected and enjoyed by her caregivers and residents of St Paul Home always being the one with a spunky joke or quick sense of humor. Her spirit and lust for life were apparent, giving others hope and happiness.
Survivors include; four brothers: Todd (Judy) Aplin, Brillion, Chad (Lynn) Aplin, Brillion, Evan Aplin, New Holstein, Kirk (Mary) Aplin, Darboy, one Goddaughter: Tara (Jason) Smits, Niece Katie (Phil) Micksch, Nephews: Mitchell (Brooke) Aplin, Jordan, Devin, Raymond, Ian, Mason Aplin. Step-children: Scott Peters and Stacy Peters; her step-grandson: Cash Peters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Tom (Terri) Peters, Joy (Gary) Gilbertson along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; niece and Goddaughter: Hannah Aplin; and niece: Hailey Aplin; sister-in-law: Jill Peters.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Pielhop Funeral Home,215 S Main Street, Brillion. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dr. Marc Axelrod. Burial will take place at Brillion Community Cemetery in spring.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
