Clarabelle Annalee Brandes Ruh, age 82, of Brillion, died on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born on August 8, 1933 in the Town of Rockland, daughter of the late Bernard and Bertha (Krepline) Reinke. She married Norman Arthur Brandes on November 10, 1951. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1979. On April 30, 1988, Clarabelle married John Ruh in Brillion. She worked at Chilton Metal Products until her retirement. Clarabelle loved to polka and was secretary of the Jerry Schneider Fan Club, but family was the most important thing to her. Survivors include her husband John, her children, Darrel (Suzanne) Brandes, Jeffrey (Krystyne) Brandes, Jim (Barb) Ruh, Martha (Nathan) Thorne, and Cynthia (John) Borchardt, her grandchildren, Kelly (Kevin) Padgett, Matthew (Erin) Brandes, Jason (Bridget) Brandes, Jennifer (Michael) Bartel, Benjamin (Alyssa) Borchardt, Abigail Borchardt and special friend Logan Witthuhn, Berdella Endress, Miranda Ruh, Jonathan Ruh, Jeanine (Brian) Kunstman, Karen Quinzer-Hoffman and David Quinzer, 19 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Lucinda Loose and Delores Price, a brother-in-law Ralph Brandes and special friends Mary (Art) Zinkel and Gloria (Lloyd) Kleinhans. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral service will be held on Friday May 27, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Thomas Fricke will officiate. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 1:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
