Cynthia "Cindy" L. (Erickson) Schmidt, age 54, of rural New Holstein "Marytown", passed away with her loving family at her side on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at her home.

Cindy was born May 4, 1970, in Sheboygan to the late Charles "Chuck" & Beverly "Bev" (Gerth) Erickson. She attended New Holstein Schools; she graduated from New Holstein High School in 1988.

On September 5, 1992, she married Randall "Randy" Schmidt in Fond du Lac.

Cindy was very instrumental in working with her customers in direct sales. She created many relationships with individuals over the years.

She loved baking and cooking; a talent she acquired through the help of her mother; her talents were passed on to her children and she was also teaching her granddaughters.

Survivors include her husband, Randy; her three children, Megan (Kyle) Nickerson of rural New Holstein "Marytown", Melissa "Lissa" Schmidt of Fond du Lac, and Randall Jr. "RJ" Schmidt of North Fond du Lac; two granddaughters, Isabella "Bella" Nett and Skylar Nickerson; her brother, Kenneth (Jen) Erickson of Fond du Lac; her niece, Charlotte Erickson; her nephew, Kenneth Jr. "KJ" Erickson. Cindy is further survived by uncles; aunts; cousins; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding her in death were her son, Eric Schmidt; her parents, Chuck & Bev Erickson; a brother, Charles; aunts; and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the North Fond du Lac Community Center, 280 Garfield Street, North Fond du Lac, WI 54937.
