Dallas C. Wenzel, age 85, a Reedsville resident, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Brillion West Haven. He was born on July 5, 1941 in Appleton, son of the late Clarence and Anna (Zeman) Wenzel. Dallas was baptized on August 16, 1941 and confirmed on April 3, 1955 at Evangelical and Reformed Church in Potter, WI. Dallas was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion, WI. Dallas was a graduate of Brillion High School, Class of 1959. He served in the Army Reserves from March 1962 until March of 1968.

Dallas worked at Ariens Company from 1959 to 1962. From there he worked at Rent-A-Truck in Brillion until 1964. In 1964 Dallas started work at the Brillion Iron Works, working there until he retired on March 20, 2007. Dallas started out as a Maintenance Mechanic and worked his way up to Maintenance Manager. Dallas served on the Brillion City Council for a number of years. He was a lifetime member of the Brillion Athletic Association and was on the Brillion High School Chain Gang for over 25 years. Dallas was an avid golfer and it was his favorite pastime.

On October 12, 2002 he married Sharon (Raduechel) Wenzel at Deer Run Golf Course.

Dallas is survived by his wife Sharon, children and step children: Kim (Steve) Heraly of Green Bay, Lea (Russ) Calaway of Brillion, Lance Wenzel of Brillion, Jody (Matt) Denor of Brillion and Andrea (Aric) Grenzer of Hilbert.

He is also survived by grandchildren: Matthew & Stephanie Heraly of DePere, WI, Daniel & Teresa Heraly of Redondo Beach, CA and Thomas & Amy Gelle Heraly of Shakapee, MN, Maxwell & Mattea Calaway of Brillion, Anna & Nathan Grajeda of DePere, Brenna Calaway of Fargo, North Dakota, Avery Wenzel (and fiancé Skyler Frilseth) of Menomonie, WI, Lily Wenzel of Menasha, WI., Ava Denor of Brillion and Alandra & Addison Grenzer of Hilbert, Great Grandchildren: James & Hazel Heraly, Scottie Gelle Heraly, Parker Calaway, and Mia Grajeda.

Dallas is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law: Beverly (Clarence) Bohman of Brillion and Sharon (David) Allen of Chilton and one sister-in-law: Wendy Raduechel of Greenleaf, as well as many nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Eunice (George) Hubinger and Joyce (Harold) Edinger and a brother-in-law: Don Raduechel.

Per Dallas’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church, Brillion. Officiating at the Service will be Pastor Joshua Brandmahl. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 11:15 AM. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Wayside.
