A Celebration of Life for Dan will be held on June 28th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at his home at W1810 Thede Road, New Holstein. Food and refreshments will be served.

Daniel N. Lanser, age 69, of rural New Holstein, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at his home.

He was born June 26, 1955, in Port Washington, WI to the late Nicholas "Nic" Lanser & Charmayne Schuh. Dan attended school at New Holstein Public Schools and graduated from New Holstein High School in 1974.

Dan established Lanser Roofing in New Holstein which he operated for close to three decades. When Dan was not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, but most of all; time with his family especially at his sanctuary (his home and wooded property outside of New Holstein).

Survivors include his two sons, Josh Lanser and Nick (Holley) Lanser; six grandchildren, Kaylie, Hunter, Mckenna, Holden, Aiden, and Liam; his sister, Wendy (Lee) Samp. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his two infant sons, Cody and Jacob; his father, Nicholas "Nic" Lanser, his stepmother, Lovita M. Lanser and a brother, Gary J. Lanser.

Per Dan's wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial gathering will take place at a later date.

Dan's family would like to thank their dad's good friend, Jim, for stopping by and helping out where needed on a daily basis.
