David J. "Wally" Mueller, age 72, of St. Cloud, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at SSM St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

He was born October 28, 1951, in Fond du Lac to the late Armand & Lorraine (Schoenborn) Mueller. David attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School in Marytown and graduated from New Holstein High School.

David worked at Schreiner's Restaurant in Fond du Lac until they closed.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-St. Mary's site in Marytown. David loved gardening and cooking. He was an avid Green Bay Packer's fan.

David is survived by his brothers, Jim (Audrey) Mueller of Fond du Lac and John Mueller of Madison; his sister-in-law, Suzanne Mueller of Marytown (rural New Holstein). He is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Armand & Lorraine Mueller; two brothers, Kenneth Mueller and an infant brother, Gerald Mueller; two sisters-in-law, Mary Mueller and Barbara Plaisted; and his stepmother, Henrietta Mueller.

A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-St. Mary's site in Marytown (N10232 County Road G, New Holstein, WI 53061). Rev. Paul Koenig, OFM Cap will officiate. Inurnment will take place in the church cemetery following the Mass.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with David's family at the church in Marytown on Thursday morning, March 14th from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.

David's family extends their sincere thank you to his neighbors, friends, and the staff at SSM St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac who offered their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
