David S. Tikalsky
David Tikalsky, 53, of St. Germain, WI, beloved son of Leland and Marilyn Tikalsky of New Holstein, WI, passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2012. Dear brother of Lee Brey, of Kiel, WI, Kevin (Liz) Tikalsky and John Tikalsky, both of Charlotte, NC, Paul (Julie) Tikalsky of Stillwater, OK, Nancy Tikalsky of Zion, IL, Mary Tikalsky of Wheaton, IL, Lynn Tikalsky of Troutdale, OR, and James Tikalsky of Plymouth, WI; loving uncle of ten nieces and nephews and two grand nieces; nephew, cousin, Godfather, friend and colleague of many.
David was the President and Owner of Angry Dave's Bar and Grill Restaurant in St. Germain for the past eight years. He was the current president of the St. Germain Lions Club.
He graduated from New Holstein High School in 1977 and then served honorably in the United States Air Force for four years. He was a graduate of Lewis University, IL and worked for Britt Airways before working as an aircraft mechanic for United Airlines in Chicago for 18 years.
David was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
He is also survived by his dog and dear friend, Coco.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 5:30 PM on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, New Holstein, WI. Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate with Deacon Pat Knier assisting. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be held at a later date.
Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 3:00-5:00 PM.
In addition, a memorial celebration will be held in St. Germain at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support the work of the St. Germain Lions Club or the charity of your choice.
