Delmar "Buddy" N. Wirth, age 83, a St. Joe native, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac. He was born October 6, 1929 in St. Joe to the late Bernard & Isabella (Knaus) Wirth. Buddy attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School and graduated from New Holstein High School. In his High School years he was involved in the Boys Quartet, FFA Quartet, and Mixed Chorus. He enjoyed showing Chester White pigs at the area fairs. Survivors include his two sisters, Laura Goll of Sheboygan Falls and Marlene Klotz of New Holstein; a brother, Melvin (Betty) Wirth of Waukau; and a sister-in-law, Mary Wirth of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by nieces, nephew, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven sisters, Evelyn (Arnold) Braun, Estella (William) Mueller, Lorraine (Ambrose) Wirtz, Alita (Ervin) Merten, Mildred (Tony) Brenner, Lillian Wirth, and Viola Wirth; three brothers, Br. Edwin Wirth SVD, Leo (Dolores) Wirth, and Lloyd Wirth; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Goll and Earl Klotz. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Sippel Funeral Home 1311 Thorp Street in St. Cloud. Inurnment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
