Denver A. (Tyler) Kalkofen, age 66, of New Holstein, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls after a short battle with cancer.
She was born June 1, 1954, to the late Glen "Duck" Tyler & Marie (King) Borg. On October 1, 1983, she married James Kalkofen.
Denver worked as a financial planner most of her life. She enjoyed her family vacations in Crivitz and spending time with her brother in North Carolina. Denver was an avid Packers fan.
Survivors include her husband, James Kalkofen; her children, Jill (David) Zuydhoek of West Bend and Dave "DJ" (Jody) Kalkofen of New Holstein; her grandchildren, Tyler and Jenna Zuydhoek and Kollin and Kolton Kalkofen; her brother, Tom "Toby" (Barbara) Tyler of Belmont, North Carolina; her two nieces, Liza and Jacqueline; and her four legged friend, Calvin. She is also survived by her husband's family and other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; Glen Tyler and Marie Borg; an infant sister, Jacqueline; her beloved aunt, Grace King; her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Alvin & Beatrice Kalkofen; and her brother-in-law, Larry Kalkofen.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Denver was always the life of the party. She was well known to be the party planner; always willing to help with an event (holidays/vacations were always top priority).
