Dianne J. Schmidt

Dianne J. Schmidt, age 87, of Brillion, passed away on Friday evening, October 20, 2023 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.

Dianne was born on February 4, 1936 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Abe and Hildegard (Rabe) DePagter. She was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School. On August 20, 1955 she married William H. Schmidt in Sheboygan. Over the years she worked at various companies including Dulmas Décor, Leverenz Shoe Company, JC Penny and M&I Bank. She was a member of the Brillion Red Hats and the Brillion Homemakers. Dianne enjoyed swimming and bird watching. More than anything she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband: William “Bill” Schmidt; two children: Kyle (Jill) Schmidt, Connie (Jim) Kraemer; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and one sister-in-law: Joan (Herb) Reisinger. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: K.C. Schmidt; one sister: Jeanette (Don) VanAkkeren; two sisters-in-law: Marion (Ray) Feld, Lois (Bud) Gregory.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Brillion. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Ross Henzi and Rev. Thomas Fricke.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
