Dolores E. Wittmann, age 89, of Brillion, passed away on January 30, 2016 at Brillion WestHaven surrounded by her family.
Dolores was born on March 3, 1926 in the town of Rantoul, daughter of the late Adolph and Lydia (Zahn) Lau. Dolores worked at Scharbarth IGA in Brillion in her early years, and later worked at her home on the farm. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, listening to polka music, and especially loved spending time with her family.
Dolores is survived by her two daughters and three sons-in-law: Doreen (Alan) Wingers of Chilton, LuAnn (Bill) Brandes of Brillion, and Donald (Doris) Riemer of Darboy; grandchildren: Todd (Wendy) Wingers, Sheila Wingers, Melissa (Craig) Geiger, Bill (Marsha) Brandes, and Casey (Melissa) Brandes; great-grandchildren: Alison and Alesha, Kaylee and Kobe, Sophia, and Jackson and Jameson; one brother: Elder Lau of Chilton, two sister and two brothers-in-law: Lorraine (Harvey) Bessert of Oshkosh and Betty (Darol) Behnke of Brillion; one sister-in-law: Donna Lau of Potter; nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Riemer, a grandson, Scott Riemer, one brother, Wayne Lau, and one sister-in-law, Clara Lau.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Rantoul. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Patrick Niles with entombment in Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
Friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
