Don Allee, 54, of New Holstein died unexpectedly Tuesday, October, 5, 2010 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
He was born April 1, 1956 in Sheboygan to William F. Allee and the late Margaret Raml Allee. Don graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1974. He received an associate's degree in material management from Lakeshore Technical College in 1999.
On March 31, 1990 he married Coleen Martin at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Don was employed with Krueger Lumber in Valders. He had previously worked at A.A. Laun Furniture Co. in Kiel. He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, New Holstein where he was also involved with church productions. He marched with the Classic Reunion Drum Line from Sheboygan. Don was active in the Calumet County Community Theatre and the Bauer Community Theatre. He loved to golf; he got his first hole in one 1 ½ weeks ago.
He is survived by his wife, Coleen of New Holstein; his two daughters, Nicole Allee, a student at U-W Stevens Point and Katherine Allee, whom resides at home; his father, William F. Allee of Sheboygan; two brothers, William D. (Betty) Allee of Sheboygan and Thomas (Theresa) Allee of Sheboygan; his sister, Lorraine "Sissy" (Ronald Sr.) Strickland of Sheboygan; his mother-in-law, Janice Scribner of Santa Rosa, CA; three brothers-in-law, Harlan Martin of Plymouth, Douglas (Jennifer) Martin of Glendale, AZ and Jessie Scribner of Maryland. He is further survived by cousins, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Margaret Allee and a brother, James Allee.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 11, 2010, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church N1230 Seven Corners Road New Holstein. Rev. Vicki Simon will officiate. Burial will be in the Country View Cemetery in the Town of New Holstein immediately following the church services.
Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Avenue in New Holstein on Sunday, October 10, 2010, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM and at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
A Memorial Fund will be established in his name.
