Donald "Don" Alt, age 78, of Brillion passed away on January 22, 2014 at Garrow Villa in Brillion. Don was born on June 11, 1935 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of the late William Sr. and Bernice (Roser) Alt. He was a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington with an Accounting degree. He worked as an accountant, traveling the country. Don lived in Ocean Springs, Mississippi until moving to Wisconsin in 2011 to live with his family. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, the Indiana Hoosiers basketball, and Notre Dame Football. Don is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Michael (Elizabeth)Alt of Brillion; two daughters: Debra Raddatz of Bloomington, IN and Andrea Owens of Venice, FL; one granddaughter: Allison Alt of Green Bay; one brother: Tom Alt of Ocean Springs, MS; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother: William Alt, Jr. and one sister-in-law: Marilyn Alt. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. A service will take place at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Southern Care Hospice or Garrow Villa.
