Donald C. Becker, age 75, of Kiel, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

He was born December 22, 1946, in Fond du Lac to Donald I. & Lucille (Hansen) Becker. Don graduated from New Holstein High School in 1965 and attended Wisconsin State University-Oshkosh.

Don worked in various sales and sales management positions in the Power Systems Division of Kohler Co for 35 years, including several years headquartered in Toledo, Ohio and in Bolingbrook, Illinois. He represented Kohler as a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) and served as its President in 1999. Don was a member of the Kohler Company Quarter Century Club and a long-time friend of Bill W.

On May 28, 1995, he married Cathy J. Brubacher at All Saints Chapel in Elkhart Lake.

In addition to his wife, Cathy of Kiel, Don is survived by two children, Christopher (Katie) Becker of Kohler, WI and Sandy (Todd) Shunneson of Whitefish Bay, WI; his son-in-law, John Girard of Sheboygan, WI; two step-daughters, Sara Hein (Graeme Bean) of Asheville, NC and Emily Hein of Elkhart Lake, WI; the loves of his life, grandchildren, Delilah & Otto Quasius, Serena Shunneson, and Johnathan, Joseph, Hollyann, and Felicity Becker; his brother, Bob (Pat) Becker of Chilton; his sister, Mary (Bob) Braun of Fond du Lac; an uncle, Don Hansen of Oshkosh; and his beloved dog, Lucy. Don is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding him in death were his daughter, Cyd Girard and his parents, Don & Lucille Becker.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Don's family at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Friday, December 9th from 2:00 PM until 3:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.

Don's family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Cedar Grove Gardens and Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion given to Don and for supporting our family.
