Donald "Peanut" A. Meyers

Donald A. “Peanut” Meyers, age 68, of Hilbert, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at his home.

Don was born on August 12, 1954, son of the late Claude and Lorena (Hoerth) Meyers. He was a graduate of Hilbert High School. Don married the former Sandra Palm and she preceded him in death on May 22, 2017. He was employed with Keller Inc. for 49 years until his recent retirement. Don was a hard worker and always kept busy. He enjoyed hunting, especially coon hunting with his red bone dogs, rabbit hunting with his beagles, and looking for tracks anytime he was in the great outdoors.

Survivors include his two daughters: Mindy (Patrick) Schuh, Nicole Meyers; two grandchildren: Carter and Lydia Schuh; one sister: Sandy (Clarence) Krueger; two sisters-in-law: Sandy Meyers and Mickey Meyers; and his mother-in-law: Jean Palm. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and three brothers: Claude Jr., Jerome and Jim Meyers.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home (215 S. Main Street), Brillion. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Joe Weiers.

The family will greet relative and friends on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
