Donald L. Schisel, age 49, of Brillion died on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at his home in Brillion. He was born December 21, 1960 in Chilton, son of Ken Schisel and the late Virginia (Popp) Schisel. During his life, he worked many years at Foley Company in Manitowoc, and was most recently employed by the Brillion Iron Works. He enjoyed volunteering time on local farms, helping with plowing and other farm chores. He also liked to spend time camping and biking through the Brillion area. Survivors include his former wife: Rhonda Bastian of Manitowoc; 2 children: Damon (Amber) Schisel of Manitowoc, Devon Schisel of Manitowoc; a grandchild: Coralea Schisel; his father and step-mother: Ken and Valerie Schisel; 1 brother: Dale Schisel of Brillion; 4 sisters: Dorie (Larry) Labitzky of Brillion, Brenda (Tim) VanGrinsven of Appleton, Melinda Voeltz of Brillion, Rebecca Schisel of Appleton; step grandparents: Alan & Gloria Kalies; and his feline companion: Shiloh. He was preceded in death by his mother: Virginia; paternal grandparents: Elmer & Margaret Schisel; and maternal grandparents: Ervie & Hilda Popp. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion with the Rev.
