Donna E. Thuecks, age 77, of New Holstein, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. The former Donna Flynn was born June 29, 1935 in Menomonee, Michigan to the late Donald & Gladys (Buege) Flynn. Donna had attended Menomonee High School and graduated from New Holstein High School in 1953. On May 21, 1955, she married Jerome "Jerry" Thuecks at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Jerry preceded her in death on May 19, 1996. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Survivors include her seven children, Jeno (Martha) Thuecks of Fond du Lac, Steve (Deb) Thuecks of Brillion, Dave (Leslie) Thuecks of Knoxville, TN, Mike (Marnie) Thuecks of Neenah, Lori (Greg) Schreiner of New Holstein, Lisa (John) Cohen of Combined Locks, and Linda (Todd) Zylka of Fond du Lac; 23 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosalie (Roger) Fromm of New Holstein and Pat Wolf of New Holstein; her brother, Ed (Mary Ann) Flynn of Las Vegas, NV; a brother-in-law, Roland Thuecks of New Holstein; and her sister-in-law, Judy Thuecks of Milwaukee. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Jerome; a grandson, Tyler Thuecks; her sister, Mary Jane Buechel; two brothers-in-law, Donald Buechel & Roman Thuecks; and a sister-in-law, Ethel Thuecks. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue in New Holstein. Deacon, Pat Knier will preside. Visitation will follow the services and continue until 6:30 pm Thursday evening. Inurnment will be in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in New Holstein this spring.
