Doris Stueck

June 20, 1921 — June 20, 2011

Doris Stueck, age 90, at lifelong resident of Reedsville, went to the loving arms of her Savior on her birthday, June 20, 2011. Doris was born on June 20, 1921, daughter of the late Louis and Elsie (Dowidat) Heberer. She was a graduate of Reedsville High School, class of 1939. Doris was married to Elroy Stueck on April 25, 1942. This union produced five children who adored their mother. Doris is survived by her children and their spouses: Dorel (Mary Jane), Allen (Linda), Jeffrey, and Susan (Peter). She will be lovingly missed by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Andrew, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2011 at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville. The family will meet with relatives and friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Timothy Nommensen with burial to follow at the Westside St. John St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery. The Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, is assisting the Stueck famiily.
