Edith "DeeDee" M. (Doolan) Faul, age 85, of St. Cloud, passed away at her home with her family at her side, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

She was born July 8, 1937, in Fond du Lac to Harold & Hazel (Allen) Doolan. DeeDee graduated from Goodrich High School in 1956.

On September 2, 1956, she married Anthony "Tony" Faul at Division Street Methodist Church in Fond du Lac; Tony preceded her in death on May 4, 2008.

DeeDee was a receptionist for a short while at the office of Dr. Balthazor. She also was a milk tester for the DHIA (Dairy Heard Improvement Association). For the majority of her working years, she babysat children in her home for quite a few of the Holyland area families until retiring in 1998.

DeeDee enjoyed playing cards with her various card clubs. In the early 1990's, DeeDee and Tony purchased a trailer on Rolling Stone Lake in Pearson, WI. They spent many years fishing and riding around the lake on their pontoon. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family which were the recipients of her sassy personality.

DeeDee is survived by her three daughters, Marie (Larry) Rietbrock of Elkhart Lake, Deann (Todd) Sippel of St. Cloud, and Cathy (Jason) Kujawski of Newton; three granddaughters, Ashley (Jordan) Liermann, Kaitlin Rietbrock, and Hanna Kujawski. DeeDee's first great grandchild is expected in May. DeeDee is also survived by her sister, Barb (Gary) Riesenberg of Shawano; her sister-in-law, Gloria Gudex of Ripon, as well as nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Harold & Hazel Doolan; her husband, Tony; her sister, Gerry (Bud) Justman; her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Anton & Eleanor Faul. She was also preceded in death by her husband's siblings and their spouses.

Funeral Services for DeeDee will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Sippel Funeral Home 1311 Thorp Street, St. Cloud, WI 53079.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with DeeDee's family at the funeral home Sunday, April 23rd from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Visitation will also be at the funeral home Monday morning, April 24th from 9:30 AM until 10:15 AM.

DeeDee's family expresses their heart-felt appreciation to Dr. Jeffrey Strong and staff for all the care they gave her over the years and to SSM Health Hospice Hope staff for their care and compassion given to her over the past week, and a special thank you to her in-home care givers, Missy Schaefer, Karen Tabbert, and Lesley Wunrow.
