Elaine E. Juno, age 87, of Brillion, passed away with her family by her side, on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Garrow Villa Assisted Living in Brillion. Elaine was born on July 14, 1926 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Birkenmeyer) Reichel. She was a graduate of Kaukauna High School, class of 1944. In February of 1946, Elaine married Vic Juno. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2003. Elaine owned and operated the Brillion Beauty Salon for many years. She also worked as a hostess for Michiels, Central House, and the Holiday Inn in Appleton. Elaine and Vic were avid Packer and Badger fans, attending many games together. She also was a dog lover. Elaine especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Gary (Susan), Steven (Susan), Charles (Sandra), and Ann (Barry) Hoopes; grandchildren: Adam, Carmen (Steve) Travali and her sister Bridgette Hill, Matthew, Erin (Ken) Zutz, Leah (Justin) Salzmann, and Elizabeth Hoopes; step grandchildren: Sara (Joe) Frisque and Lara Van Straten; great-grandchildren: Alayna, Presley, Logan, Gavin; step great-grandchildren: Ayanna, Daquan, Brayden, Logan, and Mc Cormick; one sister: Marion De La Hunt; special friend for many years: Joyce School; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vic, one sister and three brothers-in-law: Ardith (Louis) School, Russell De La Hunt, and Cy (Dorothy) Juno, and other relatives. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013, at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Timothy Brandt with burial to follow in the old town cemetery.
