Eldore Goldschmidt, age 88, of W191 East Hills Rd. Brillion died on Sun. May 30, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born on Nov. 24, 1921 in Brillion, son of the late William & Elsie (Lau) Goldschmidt. He married Alice Mack on June 6, 1945 in Brillion. He was a carpenter/contactor until his retirement. Eldore loved his family, camping, woodcrafts, the out of doors, fishing and in his later years, spending time at his cottage. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Alice, 3 daughters, Judy (Larry) Nies, Betty (Joel) Ott, and Jill Ott all of Brillion, 9 grandchildren, Nathan (Kristie) Ott, Christopher (Lisa) Ott, Aaron Ott and special friend Brittany, Lisa (Aaron) White, Andrew (Melissa) Ott, Eric Nies and fiancé Mandi, Tammy Ott, Heather Nies and fiancé Jesse, Tony Ott and special friend Kristine, 5 great grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Owen, Natalie, and Kennadie, a sister-in-law Sally Loewe of Hilbert, and close friend of the family Lois Olm of Appleton, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Eldore was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law Larry Ott, a brother and sister-in-law Norman & Mary Jane Goldschmidt, and a brother-in-law Lloyd Loewe. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 3 at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Ross Henzi will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.
