Obituary

Ella Mae J. Feldner, age 89, of St. Cloud, died peacefully Thursday August 23, 2012 at the Villa Loretto Nursing Home in Mt. Calvary, WI. The former Ella Mae Freund was born December 8, 1922 in Johnsburg to the late Robert & Eleanor "Ella" (Stenz) Freund. She attended St. John the Baptist School in Johnsburg. On May 22, 1946 she married Alfred E. Feldner at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Alfred preceded her in death on January 15, 1985. She and her husband farmed in the Town of Forest until 1984 when they retired and moved into the Village of St. Cloud. After retiring from farming, she helped clean the St. Cloud Church and school. Ella Mae was a member of St. Isidore Parish St. Cloud Church, Christian Women's Society and the Catholic Knights. She loved quilting and playing cards with her friends. Survivors include her three Children, Linda (Tom) Holzmann of St. Cloud, Peter Feldner and his special friend Dawn Ledden of Mt. Calvary, Rose Marie (Jerry) Olig of Mt. Calvary; eight Grandchildren, Jennifer (Joel) Wagner, Brian (Nichole) Holzmann, Laurie Holzmann, Jamie (Cheryl) Feldner, Peter JR. (Jennifer) Feldner, Anthony, Adam Olig, Shane Olig; four Great Grandchildren, Emma & Grace Wagner, Aiden & Joslyn Feldner; a Brother, Howard (Pat) Freund of Columbus, Ohio; Sisters-in-law, Judy Freund, Irene Feldner and Valita Feldner. Preceding her in death were her parents Robert & Eleanor "Ella" (Stenz) Freund; her husband; Alfred Feldner; two granddaughters, Shannon & Ashley Olig; two brothers, Harold Freund & Robert Freund JR.; two sisters-in-law, Grace Freund & Ruth Freund. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, August 27, 2012 at St. Isidore Parish St. Cloud Church, 924 Main Street in St. Cloud. Rev. Gary Wegner OFM Cap. will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Cloud Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home, 1311 Thorp Street in St. Cloud on Monday from 3-5:30 PM when brief family rites will be held. Special thanks to St. Cloud First Responders, 6th floor South nursing staff at St. Agnes, Dr. Fownes, Dr. Strong, Hospice staff, and Villa Loretto Sisters and Staff. Fr. Gary and Sr. Jenada for all the comforting visits. Dale and Mary Bink for always watching out for Mom.
