Erna M. (Meyer) Reichardt Thiedeman, age 98, of New Holstein, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at Lakehouse Assisted Living in New Holstein.

She was born October 27, 1926, in St. Anna to Frank & Margaret (Dorn) Meyer. Erna attended New Holstein High School.

Erna had worked at the former Leverenz Shoe Company in New Holstein and then at the former Tecumseh Engine Products in New Holstein until her retirement.

On June 9, 1945, she married Orville Reichardt at St. Ann Catholic Church in St. Anna. Orville preceded her in death on March 31, 1986. On May 18, 1988, she married Henry Thiedeman in Florida. Henry preceded her in death on June 21, 2012.

Erna was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.

Erna is survived by her stepdaughter, Bonnie Whitman; her step grandchildren, Shawn Whitman and Adam Gates; three step greatgrandchildren; her sister-in-law, Janet Meyer Steinmetz of Chilton. She is further survived by nieces; nephews, great nieces & nephews; great-great nieces & nephews.

Erna was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Margaret Meyer; her first husband, Orville Reichardt; her second husband, Henry Thiedeman; a stepdaughter, Rhianna Arentz; six brothers, Sylvan Meyer, Clarence (Marie) Meyer, Raymond (Gertrude) Meyer, Harvey Meyer, Robert (Angie) Meyer, and Alfred (Jane) Meyer; and three sisters, Rosetta (Herbert) Suttner, Virginia (Jack) Kandler, and an infant sister, Marion.

A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street New Holstein, WI 53061. Rev. Alvan Amadi will officiate. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum near Manitowoc.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Erna's family at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein on Friday, October 17th from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM.
