Estelle Marie Endries, age 65, of Brillion, died on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on February 10, 1945, daughter of the late Edward and Elda (Natzke) Carstens. Estelle married Donald Endries on July 16, 1966 in Brillion. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2010. Estelle was employed at Calumet County Bank for many years, retiring at the age of 52. She is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Estelle enjoyed her crocheting and knitting classes, loved watching birds and feeding them in her yard, and did Sudoku puzzles. She also enjoyed shopping. The love of the hunt, as she would say, is why she enjoyed it so much. Most of all, she loved going to the cottage and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her children: Scott (Karri) Endries of Brillion, Michelle and John Drewieske of Brillion, five grandchildren: Amber, Amanda and Austin Drewieske, Carstens and Branden Endries, her brothers and sisters-in-law: Hank (Jan) Carstens of Brillion, Charles (Ruth) Carstens of Gering, Nebraska; sister and brother-in-law: Beth (Jeff) Duchrow of Cedarburg, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Judith (Ronald) Hernke of DePere, Bob (Pat) Endries of Shawano, Doris Endries of Green Bay, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents, brother-in-law: Raymond, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Wilfred and Marie (Mullins) Endries. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Rev. Larry Abler OFM Cap will officiate. Burial at Holy Family Parish Cemetery in Brillion, will follow the luncheon. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. The visitation will continue at church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Scholarship Fund at Calumet County Bank in the name of Donald and Estelle Endries or to a charity of your choice.
