Esther J. Fuhrmann, age 91, formerly of Marytown, passed away peacefully Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Villa Loretto Nursing Home in Mt. Calvary, WI. She was born July 18, 1921 in the town of Marshfield near St. Joe to the late Joseph & Rose (Kohlmann) Muellenbach. Esther attended St. Joseph Catholic School. On April 13, 1944 she married Clifford J. Fuhrmann at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe. Clifford preceded her in death on January 19, 2000. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown, and the Altar and Rosary Society. Esther and her husband were former members of the We Love to Dance Club. She loved her flower gardening, quilting, crocheting, and taking care of her cats. Esther nurtured her family through her love of cooking and baking. Survivors include her children, Patricia (Gordy) Halbach of Marytown, Ronald (Sally) Fuhrmann of Kendall, WI, Richard (Mary) Fuhrmann of St. Joe, Jeanne (Mark) Kohl of Lodi; seven grandchildren, Todd & Jeff Halbach, Kim, Jon, and Jeff Fuhrmann, Brian & Kyle Kohl; two great grandchildren, Chad & Curtis Halbach: great-great-granddaughter, Zoey Halbach; sister-in-law, Rose Ann Werdeo of Kiel; brother-in-law, Lyle Fuhrmann of Mt. Calvary. Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph & Rose Muellenbach; her husband, Clifford J. Fuhrmann, a great-grandson, Cory Halbach; three brothers, Fritz, Milton, and Orville Muellenbach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Isidore Parish-St. Joseph Church W620 County Road G St. Cloud. The Rev. Gary Wegner OFM Cap. will officiate. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
