Eunice Carolyn Martha Voss, age 90, of Brillion, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at West Haven in Brillion. Eunice was born on August 13, 1920 in Brothertown, daughter of the late Martin and Elizabeth (Stecker) Hillmann. On May 29, 1948, she married Edgar Voss at St. Lukes Lutheran Church, town of Chilton. Eunice and Edgar farmed together until their retirement in 1980. They then moved to Brillion. In 1998, the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an invitation from Tommy Thompson to our state capitol. There they celebrated with other golden anniversary couples for the state of Wisconsins sesquicentennial. Eunice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Ladies Aide, Lutheran Womens Missionary Society, Brillion Historical Society, Brillion Senior Citizens, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Silver and Gold Club. She was also Calumet Countys first Dairy Princess. Eunice is survived by her loving, 95 year old husband of 62 years Edgar Voss , Brillion; two sons and two daughters-in-law Kevin and Kaye Voss, Port Washington and Dan and Debby Voss, Potter; five grandchildren Rachel and Ryan Voss, and Traci (Nate) Braun, Tony Voss, and Marshall Rathburn; one great-granddaughter Eliza Braun; one sister-in-law Audrey Hillmann, Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers-in-law Ruth and Al Wordell and Esther and Elmer Bock; two brothers and one sister-in-law Wilmer and Louise Hillmann and Armand Buddy Hillmann; and other in-laws. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion. Rev. Johnathan Bourman will officiate with burial to immediately follow the service at Trinity Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion from 5 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, November 4, 2010. The visitation will continue at church on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
