Frances L. Thiel, age 84, of Brillion, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 3, 1925, the eighth daughter of the late Edward & Agnes (OLeary) Seidel. She married Ermin Thiel who preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by her daughters, Audrey (Mark) Stern of Luxenburg, Carol (Terry) Lietzke of Appleton, Shirley (Randy) Free of Brillion, her grandchildren, Matt (Michele) Rosner, Becca (Jeff) Ledvina, David Stern & Tiffany, Rachel and Connie Lietzke, Jennifer (John) Hagner, Jessica Free, Michael (Alicia) Free, Nicole (Andy) VanDomelen, 14 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Agnes Dix and Peggy Rank, sisters-in-law Elenore Thiel, Mary Lou Thiel, and Sister Rosilda Thiel, and brother-in-law Bob Schwabenlander. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, sisters and brothers-in-law, Rose (Earl) Klipstine, Catherine (Bill) Phillips, Gen (William) Moudry, Marie (Elmer) Remiker, Florence Seidel, Brothers-in-law Rueben Dix, Leo Rank, Ronnie Theil, Ves Berchem and Ken Martin, sisters-in-law Armella Schwabenlander, Esther Martin, Lillian Berchem and special friend Doc Walters, Sr. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 6 at 5:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Matt Simonar will officiate. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, St. John. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday From 3:00 p.m. until the time of mass. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
