Francis J. Krutzik, age 79, of New Holstein, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
He was born January 3, 1935, in Charlesburg, to the late Jacob & Philomena (Meyers) Krutzik. Francis graduated from New Holstein High School with the class of 1953.
On October 17, 1959, he married Mary Ann Seipel at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton. Francis and Mary Ann farmed in the Town of New Holstein from 1961 to 1986 when they moved to New Holstein. Mary preceded him in death on July 23, 1998.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Francis loved Polka music, especially the Jerry Schneider Band, playing cards with the many card clubs he belonged with, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his son, Mark (Denise) Krutzik of Chilton and their children, Alex Pingel of Green Bay, Brandie (Aaron) Pluger of Shiocton; daughter, Lisa Ann Krutzik of New York; his brother, Fr. Norman Krutzik of Appleton; his special friend, Dorothy Schad; and her children, Judy (Alan) Wippermann of Kiel, Bill (Kris) Schad of New Holstein, Mary (Frank) Schuh of Plymouth, Ken (Laurie) Schad of New Holstein, Al (Ann) Schad of New Holstein, Tim (Cheri) Schad of New Holstein; his brothers-in-law, Jack (Lisa) Seipel of Arizona and Michael (Sue) Seipel of California. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Preceding Francis in death were his parents, Jacob & Philomena Krutzik; his wife, Mary Ann; two sisters, Rosemary Hanke Reindl and her first husband, Leonard Hanke and second husband, Arnold Reindl, Laverne (Jerome) Perl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street New Holstein, WI 53061. Francis' brother, Rev. Norman Krutzik will preside with Rev. Harold Berryman and Deacon Pat Knier assisting. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Avenue in New Holstein on Friday, December 26th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM when brief rites will be held.
A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Friday evening at 7:00 PM.
